WE ARE A SCOUT CAMPSITE and DO NOT ACCEPT RESERVATIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.
|Whole Site Booking: As from January 2019 the way we price for a whole site booking is changing.
There will now be a fixed fee for the use of the entire site per night, regardless of the number of users, up to 800 people.
This includes all buildings and site activities, but exclude external use of utilities; such as power for bouncy castles.
The revised prices will be published on our web site following the site AGM in November.

Note: Book now for 2019, (Lodge filling up fast, early booking advised).
||Do NOT place Baby wipes, Fresh wipes or any other Hygienic type wipes down the toilets. They have a tendancy to "stick" to the pipes and block the drains.
Dispose of these types of hygienic wipes as well as sanitary wear in bags and dispose of them separately.
||Friday Night Use by Non-Residents As a result of the amount of usage the site receives and the traffic coming onto the site, the management committee has decided that we will not allow evening visits on a Friday. The only exception to this is when there are no other campers using the site.
||All site users offering Shooting as an activity are encouraged to use Lead-free ammunition.
If lead-free ammo is not available then event organisers need to ensure that they comply with the stringent guidelines about avoiding lead pollution and clean up appropriately afterwards.
There is a vacuum cleaner with a special filter supplied in the Barn for cleaning purposes
Please note that all Barn users are required to sign a statement about compliance before the keys are issued by the Site Warden.

|| A Change of policy. At a recent site management meeting it was decided that no further bookings would be taken for firework parties. This includes all groups coming onto the site for such an event regardless of size.
Exception; a group that is resident on site (staying for at least one night) may still have a small firework displays, but no visitors for the event are permitted, and the usual notification forms are still required in advance.
